RNC Chairman Bashes Trump Debate

Republican Party chairman Reince Priebus, perhaps worried about the optics of his party pandering to Donald Trump, came out against the reality tv star’s debate today. Speaking on Fox News, Priebus said it would be “malpractice” for him to support the debate while Trump supposedly mulls a possible independent presidential run. Priebus said, “the issue here is whether the moderator should still be a person who’s still batting around the idea of running as an independent. I think that should give some of these candidates some concern.”

Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum have already agreed to attend the debate.
