President ObamaIn a presidential news conference today, President Obama pushed back hard on Republican claims that his foreign policy is based on “appeasement.” Asked by reporters about the charge, Obama told the press, “Ask Osama Bin Laden and the 22 out of 30 top leaders who’ve been taken off the field whether I engage in appeasement. Or whoever’s left out there. Ask them about that.”

On May 2 of this year, President Obama ordered the killing of Osama Bin Laden, the most wanted man in the world, on his compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan. In addition to Bin Laden, many of Al Qaeda’s top terrorists have been killed on President Obama’s watch.
