Mothers are up in arms over the new music video from Justin Bieber and Mariah Carey for their version of “All I Want For Christmas Is You.” The video, which shows 17 year old Bieber and 41 year old Carey exchanging glances while singing has prompted anger from moms online. Some comments posted on NBC’s Christmas In Rockefeller Center website:
- “Shame on Mariah.. being proud of her new ‘after baby body’. Is one thing…this was SICK!”
- “My mother watched this show and has since been talking about how horrible it was, how the musical guests were less than impressive, and how disgustingly inappropriate that video with Mariah Carey and Justin Beiber was.”
- “The All I Want For Christmas video was EXTREMELY inappropriate and quite gross;and I mean gross on every level you can imagine!This is a FAMILY show and you have 41-year old cougar Carey in a sexy Santa suit coming on to a 17-year old Bieber.She even caressed her breast!”
- “I am Very ashamed of Mariah Carey…especially now that she has children of her own. . Very un classy!!”
- “The All I Want For Christmas video with Bieber and Carey was very inappropriate”
