Romney Campaign Stands By Faking Obama Quote

Mitt Romney’s presidential campaign proudly stood by an ad in which they produced a fraudulent quote from President Obama. The ad, which falsely attributes a quote from John McCain to Obama, is “exactly what we want” according to Romney adviser Tom Rath. Rath went on to tell CBS that the more people discussing the ad — even if it’s underlying premise is completely false — the better for Romney. [CBS]
