Texans CheerleaderAn analysis of the political donations from NFL teams shows that the league leans to the right, favoring Republicans over Democrats. The most Republican team is the Houston Texans, led by owner Robert McNair, who has donated $215,200 since 2009 to the GOP.

Other right-leaning teams include the Arizona Cardinals, Dallas Cowboys, Denver Broncos, Carolina Panthers, Kansas City Chiefs, Washington Redskins, Detroit Lions, New York Jets, San Diego Chargers and the Baltimore Ravens. Democratically aligned teams with over 70% of donations to the Democratic Party are the Seattle Seahawks, St. Louis Rams, San Francisco 49ers, Oakland Raiders, Philadelphia Eagles, New York Giants, New England Patriots and New Orleans Saints.
