The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are the first NFL team to throw out their traditional playbooks in favor of an Apple iPad. Players use the handheld computer to review plays, including video, while also learning upcoming plays.
Using the iPad also works as a security measure. If an iPad is lost or left behind, the playbook can be completely erased remotely, keeping the team’s secrets safe. [TUAW]
