Steve Jobs Resigns As Apple CEO, Tim Cook Likely Successor

Steve Jobs, the co-founder and CEO of Apple, has resigned his position. Jobs cited his ongoing fight with pancreatic cancer as the reason behind his departure. Jobs will become Chairman of Apple, and Tim Cook is likely to quickly become the company’s CEO. Cook has served as interim CEO before, as Jobs fought his disease.
Apple has been a technology pioneer, from the first viable home computer, to the Mac and on to the revolutionary iPod, iPhone and iPad, the company’s mark on the world of technology is felt around the globe.
