The current Doctor Who, Matt Smith, may quit the series after 2013. In an interview with Radio Times magazine, Smith said, “When I finish, I’ll be … Well, I don’t know how old I’ll be, but by the end of next year I’ll be 29 so …”
Smith’s current contract includes one more season, which is set to air in 2012 and 2013.
Smith has become a fan favorite after taking over from David Tennant’s long run as the two-hearted alien time traveler. [Radio Times]
