GOP Sleaze: Ron Paul Fan Seeks Woman Who’s Had Sex With Rick Perry

The Republican race for the presidency is in its infancy, but already candidates are rolling around in the mud. A booster of Ron Paul, who came in second in the Iowa straw poll, is running an ad in a Texas alt-weekly newspaper asking “have you ever had sex with Rick Perry?”

The ad also forwards the rumor that Gov. Perry is gay, which isn’t true. The man who ran the ad, Robert Morrow, also promoted the lie that Hillary Clinton covered up the raep of a woman by Bill Clinton.

Morrow describes himself as “a three-time delegate to the Texas state GOP convention.” [Salon]
