Chrislam, the supposed union of Christianity and Islam, has caused controversy among the religious far right. Jack Van Impe, a conspiracy-minded religious broadcaster who talks about the “new world order” and the end times, has accused megachurch pastor Rick Warren of being a supporter of Chrislam.
Van Impe’s theory led to him leaving Trinity Broadcast Network (TBN) after the network pulled the episode where he made his accusation. Van Impe claims World War 3, led by Russia, is coming soon. [Beliefnet]
