Lorena Tavera, Miss El Paso USA 2008, was arrested for shoplifting. Tavera is accused of stealing a $69 blouse from a Dillard’s department store.
Tavera told a local television news crew that the story has “been misconstrued and it’s twisted.” [Gawker]
