Poll: 52% Reject Debt Deal

A new CNN poll finds 52% of respondents disapproving of the recently passed deal to raise the debt ceiling and reduce the deficit.

While a majority felt that the cuts didn’t go deep enough, another 60% dislike that the deal contains no tax increases for the rich or big business. People are generally negative on how the negotiations occurred, but President Obama receives much more positive responses than Democrats and Republicans in congress. [CNN Poll]
