Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker Hired Man With Criminal Record For Security At Children’s Courthouse

Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker, in the news for his attempts to bust unions by restricting their collective bargaining rights, came under scrutiny while he was a county executive for his role in hiring a man with a criminal record to secure Milwaukee County facilities, including the children’s courthouse.

Under Walker former police officer Chad Wegener was hired. Wegener had previously been charged in 2004 for making unwelcome sexual advances and drunken requests for sexual favors from police officers under his supervision.
